Schematic Design and Feasibility Study
Cooper Mixon Architects is designing and studying the feasibility of a mixed-use condominium development. The new Rise at Parkwood is a luxury condominium development with commercial spaces on the first floor, an amenity level, and several stories of high-end condominiums for modern living located in the heart of Jonesboro’s commercial district. The commercial aspect of the project is secondary to the residential. The residences will enjoy dedicated secured parking along with other resident only amenities. The building will be a tall, tower-like structure above a lower commercial first floor. The ultimate height of the building could be as tall as ninety feet, but will likely be lower and controlled by the Federal Aviationon Administrationrequirements and the International Building Code. The first- floor commercial uses being considered are the following: Restaurant, Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt, Coffee Shop/ Bakery, Office Space (Insurance, etc.), Boutique evening apparel and accessories.
